The Alaska item from La Perla Azzurra (Italy) .
Part of the hide is double shoulders.
This vegetable-tanned leather has a full aniline color, a closed reverse side, and a vibrant, unique grain. Its main distinguishing feature is the impregnation/treatment and finishing of the grain with white wax. Rubbing the wax onto the grain gives the leather a rich, deep hue, allowing you to accent the product as desired. The leather has excellent organoleptic properties.
Suitable for: small and medium-sized haberdashery – bags, backpacks, briefcases, wallets, purses, cardholders, cases; suitable for business accessories and footwear, etc.
Alaska is a unique item, please consider its main features:
1) This is an aniline item, which means the grain of the skin is completely preserved (no adjustments), and there is no pigment layer on the grain - therefore, even on first grade skins, we may find small scars received by the animal during life, insect bites, abrasions, and curliness - these features may be present on these skins;
2) Leather is a unique anisotropic material - the grain pattern and shade on these skins may differ from those shown in the photo and may have a more pronounced grain or be smoother, the color can vary from more saturated and deep to more muted and calm. This depends on the production technology of this item - here the grain pattern is obtained by beating in a drum and changes in the cut of the skin, depending on its physiological structure and properties;
3) The actual color may differ slightly from the one shown in the photo due to color rendition, monitor settings, and the specific nature of this item—color may vary from batch to batch.
4) Leather requires careful handling and care. Therefore, when creating premium leather goods, please inform the end customer of the necessary care and proper use of the product.
5) This leather is sold in whole hides (average size 140-160 sq. dm), but we can also offer half and quarter hides. Ask a manager if necessary.
